Hemp is one of the most versatile plants on Earth. It has dozens of uses ranging from clothing to medicine to food. In fact, hemp can actually improve the soil it\'s grown in! Hemp is a great source of protein and good fats for humans and animals alike. It has been proven that these treats have no negative side effects on your pet. In fact, they are full of vitamins and minerals that will help keep them healthy. For example, hemp seed contains Vitamin E which helps support cardiovascular health. Similarly, Hemp steak bite pet treats have been made from all-natural ingredients so you do not need to worry about harmful chemicals or toxins seeping into your pets\' systems. They\'ve been specifically made for dogs but they are even great for the health of your cat! Your pets will love these tasty treats that are full of protein, fiber and nutritious goodness to promote their overall well-being.
What Are Hemp Steak Bite Pet Treats Made Of?
Hemp pet treats are made from hemp seed oil and contain no THC, the psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana. Hemp oil contains Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids (EFAs) as well as naturally occurring vitamin E, all essential to good doggy health. Hemp seed oil is said to "provide optimal nutrition for your canine companion without the potential negative side effects associated with many of the leading commercial brands." For instance, in comparison to corn-based products, hemp steak bite pet treats may "increase energy levels by nourishing your beloved furry friend\'s endocrine system while building strong muscles." Though not all pet owners agree that natural foods can be "good for dogs," others swear that hemp has benefited their pets\' health.
A Reason to give your dog Hemp steak bite pet treats
A lot of people believe that the reason for their dog\'s good health is because they feed them biologically proper food, lots of exercise and time spent outside in the fresh air.
If you\'ve ever stopped to think about it though, you might have noticed that your dog actually has a pretty unhealthy diet when you look at what they eat compared to humans. Although dogs are omnivores, domesticated dogs share an almost identical diet to us carnivores. Dog biscuits usually contain meat byproducts which means proteins from animals other than cows or chickens, not vegetables. It doesn\'t take much effort to notice that while dogs do occasionally feasts on leftovers or scraps of chicken or steak bones (which I don\'t blame them - who wouldn\'t want a taste of steak?) the vast majority of their diet is carbohydrate, protein and fat; with only trace amounts of fiber.
What does this mean for your dog? Unfortunately it means that your dog gets fewer vitamins and minerals than you might think. Dogs like to eat meat because they instinctively know that it has more nutrients than vegetables or grains (which we find incredibly ironic considering humans aren\'t even meant to be carnivores!)
Are they legal?
According to Paul Stanford of The Hemp and Cannabis Foundation, "hemp products such as paper, rope, fabric and fuel should always be legal." And though the United States has not approved the farming or sale of industrial hemp for commercial purposes since 1961 because plants containing Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a compound that may be harmful if ingested could be grown on US soil without supervision by an agency such as the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), hemp pet treats are legal to purchase and sell.
