Ritu Khatiwala commented on Shraddha Ghatge's WriteUp: What a heady feeling it is to be in love. The stage that your poem speaks of, is bittersweet and the most memorable. This poem brought back some memories to me. Well written and nice analogy drawn..of love and the high of substances.

Ritu Khatiwala commented on Chitresh's WriteUp: things erode. they do, in their own unique way, as you have put it. But no matter how much love is eroded, bruised or tampered, it reignites at the smallest hint of reciprocation. This is a beautiful poem though!!!

It might sound a bit wierd but I, myself, have always wanted to pet a bird. The affection, the understanding of freedom and space for the loved one and most importantly, the unexpressed yet such profound love. It could just be my hormones, but this story has got me into "the" groove. Beautiful.

A fair is actually going on. So much so for the prologue. In the novel, the story revolves around two girls, graduating from the same school on the same day, and follows their journey through life. Thackrey has a wonderful skill of praising a character's vices with sarcasm, and at the same time highlighting the virtues with irony. One is propelled to dive within and do some soul-searching!!!! The way it begins, the plot develops, more and more characters join in, and the way it ends, Thackrey has held his grip on the writing style. Without keeping the note serious at all, he has said a lot. With such disdain he presents the "real" intentions of the characters that the reader cannot but help learn the difference between right and wrong. He takes the vanity issues seriously and highlights them quite subtly. It was a very good read indeed.   less

I, just another Indian, take an oath to disdain, exemplify and exaggerate the flaws of my society.   I promise to find faults with others, to sneer at the dirty roads and unkempt public parks, look down upon my fellow pedestrians, curse other drivers on the road, crib about the abused public ...
